Class attendance and participation

Class participation means you attend and that you are up-to-date on your assignments and readings. Be prepared to respond to questions and to contribute meaningfully to discussions. One point will be deducted from your semester total for each unexcused absense. If you are going to miss class, notify me in advance or as soon as possible after the missed class and I will decide whether to excuse your absense.
